For team points calculations only: If an athlete has not met the minimum DD requirements, then all athletes placed below the athlete at fault move up one placing, and the appropriate team points are allocated to their clubs.
A club's best performing athlete's points for each event is added together to obtain the club score with the following allowances:
In the case of a tie, the club with results from the greatest number of different disciplines for the particular award being contested is the winner.

TEAM EVENTS AWARDS

For each discipline a team shall be considered as comprising all the competitors, entered by a member association as team members, in each discipline.
The score of the team member or synchronised pair in each event, with the highest number of points after the completion of the preliminaries, will be considered as the team score for that event.
The winner will be the team with the highest total of the top four (4) out of a possible six (6) scores for each team.
An interstate team challenge shall be conducted at the AGC. It will be decided based on converting the scores of the Number 1 teams to a percentage (the top team in each discipline being 100%) and then adding the four discipline percentages together.
The STA or Alliance with the highest total percentage will be the winner.

TRANS-TASMAN TRAMPOLINE CHALLENGE

(Trans-Tasman Trampoline Challenge Rules, 31 March 2023)

The Trans-Tasman Challenge is a competition between trampoline and double mini trampoline teams from New Zealand and Australia for the title of Trans-Tasman Trampoline Champions in each.
The Challenge will be held in conjunction with the Australian or New Zealand National Championship with men’s and women’s teams from each country competing individual trampoline and double mini trampoline.
The hosting of the Trans-Tasman Challenge will alternate between the two countries unless otherwise agreed by both national associations.

Teams and Team Composition

Each country shall enter four (4) teams into the competition

Team Composition

Each team will be made up of a maximum of six (6) athletes from FIG International, or from Age/National Stream if a country cannot fill the positions from these International divisions and chooses to do so. Each team can have up to a maximum of four (4) senior athletes.
Athletes must be residents or citizens of the country they are representing and be registered with their national association i.e. NZ or Gymnastics Australia.

Naming of the Teams

Each team must be named by the end of the day prior to the scheduled Trans-Tasman Team Challenge event.
Changes to the list of team members will only be allowed in the case of injury or illness to one of the named athletes. Any substitution or replacement of an athlete must be to the satisfaction of both national associations.
An athlete may be named in more than one team.
Once named the number of athletes in a team cannot be altered.

Injury or Illness During the Competition

A named team member who cannot compete through injury or illness may be replaced by another athlete of the same divisionA team member cannot be replaced if their event has already started.

Competition Format

The Trans-Tasman Challenge Team Finals

The Trans-Tasman Challenge will be a stand alone round of competition with all teams starting from a zero mark. The starting order will be nominated by each country nominating their 1st competing athlete to 6th competing athlete for each team, with athletes alternating from country to country until all have competed, with the host country competing last. In the case when a country has less than six (6) athletes, for example 5, then the 1st competing athlete will compete at the same time as the 2nd competing athlete from the other country, and so on.
The trampoline competition will consist of a single voluntary routine per team member with the total team mark being the sum of the three (3) highest scores achieved by the members of the team.
The double mini competition will consist of two (2) unique passes of the equipment per competitor. The team mark for each pass will be the sum of the three (3) highest scores achieved by the members of the team in that pass. The total team score for the Challenge will be the sum of the team marks achieved in each pass.
(Note. The three (3) athletes whose scores will make up team mark for the second pass do not need to be the same three athletes as in the first pass.)
